Bloom MV | May 2020 Update
Spring greetings from the Bloom team. We hope that you and your families are all safe and healthy during these uncertain times.
As of April 2020, the Site Plan Amendment has been approved and Record Plats for Areas 4 and 5 are expected to be recorded within the next month. The project team is now days away from final permit approvals and is preparing to mobilize its construction team for a late-May groundbreaking. Residents can expect to see earth being moved in a large swath of golf course property bordering Montgomery Village Avenue over to Arrowhead Drive and then down to Stewartown Rd. The construction zone borders a number of Patton Ridge subdivisions including Highfield, Green Tree Tee I and Fairway Island. The first model home lots are expected to be delivered in Fall 2020 with model homes completed approximately 90 – 120 days later.
Engineering work has also begun on the next phase of development that will deliver the new MVF Park and associated open space, along with the single-family homes in Area 3. That phase of development is currently projected to break ground by the end of the year, with the MVF Park and Area 3 lots expected to deliver by Summer 2021.
Progress is also being made with the stream restoration effort that will enhance the park and open space area while improving the health of the stream valley. Design and permitting for the stream restoration is expected to continue through 2021 to enable the stream restoration work to be completed in 2022.
