Capture One is an image editor developed by Phase One. Initially, it was oriented on tethered photography, but later was upgraded with more image processing features. Nowadays, the Capture One photo editing software includes features and tools for RAW photos processing, picture cataloging, local adjustments, layers, keystone settings and the support for more than 500 cameras. Capture One renders RAW files with true-to-life colors that are custom profiled to all major camera brands. Color Balance Tool For precise color grading, use the intuitive Color Balance tool to add color tints and adjust luminosity individually for shadows, midtones and highlights.
Capture One 21 (14.1.0) was released this past December and its first major update is now available to current users for free. Capture One 21 (14.1.0) is a feature release that contains new functionality, new camera and lens support and bug fixes.

New features added to Capture One 21 include new Style Brushes, an improved Import Viewer, additional ProStandard profiles and improvements to Live-View when shooting tethered with supported Leica cameras.
Style Brushes are a new way to work with brushes and layers. Style Brushes are designed to be more accessible and make powerful editing tools instantly available to users. Essentially, the new tool is a streamlined, easy way to make local adjustments to your images.
Capture One 21 (14.1.0) now offers numerous style brushes to adjust color, light and contrast. You can also create your own custom Style Brushes, and users can share them with other photographers. It won’t be long until you will probably be able to purchase pre-made sets for specific local adjustment to photos.
The updated version of the Import Viewer is faster and more useful in Capture One 21 (14.1.0). You can now pre-edit your images and easily include and exclude photos during your import phase–saving hard drive space right from the beginning. It’s like having an editor within the editor.
In addition to these two major adds to Capture One 21 (14.1.0), we have more ProStandard camera profiles, added support for the new Sony a1, more tethering functionality for Leica cameras, some tweaks to the Brush tool, and miscellaneous bug fixes. Have a look at the full list of improvements.
