Is there a way to permanently disable the cursor on the magic remote. I have tremor and cannot hold the remote still enough to actually point and click successfully. If I use an arrow key to turn it off, my tremor will turn it back on. I want to leave it off and never have it come back. Can't figure out how. Does anyone know?

  • Hello. I appreciate this was a long time ago, but I was just trying to get back the pink cursor for my mother-in-law as it had disappeared. I turned the TV on and a voice was describing every button that was pressed. This was under Accessibility and is called 'Audio Guidance'. When I turned this off, the cursor came back.

    So if you can put up with a voice describing every button that you press, you can reverse what I did and turn 'Audio Guidance' on and your cursor will disappear.

    I hope, though, that you have already found a solution.
