This is going to be a quick post, because this is the end of 2020!

Not a long time ago (probably in August 2020) I wanted to use the Wii U Pro controller and play some games on my laptop. Therefore, I needed a USB-Blutooth game controller adapter. My research came up with these two adapters that are $15-20:

Support for these two adapters are still going. I recommend that if you buy any of these two adapters, then upgrade to newest firmware. One adapter had a firmware from 2019. 8BitDo adapter firmware upgrade tool looked polished while Mayflash was simple but straight to the point.

These two adapters has support for many controllers. But the main ones are PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch Pro, Nintendo Switch Joy-Con, Wii U Pro, Wii Remote, and Xbox One S Bluetooth controllers, and many others.

For now Im using it for my laptop and Wii U Pro Controller.

Did I notice any lag? No. The inputs on my controller sync up well with the games I was playing on my laptop. If a game has Xinput and rumble support, then I could feel the feedback.

I had no problem playing Florence with the controller. I recommend you guys/gals check out this lite game, if not then try these adapters on an emulator and play your favorite classic games.

After playing for only a few hours on both adapters, I can say that both are winners and you can't go wrong buying one or both of them. Sadly, one adapter can only support one controller at a time. So, if you want to have 4 player action, they you need to buy 4 adapters.

So why did I review these two adapters late? After all, these two appeared in 2017 and there are far better reviews in Amazon and YouTube. Because I have not played any video games in 2019-2020. I was so busy with work, school, cert prepping, etc. I think in 2021 I will relax a bit more and play my backlog of games. I still want to play the The Legend of Zelda .. you know the one from 2011...Skyward Sword!

17. 1. Connect the adapter to any spare USB port on the Nintendo Switch, PS3 or PC system.
18. 2. To swith modes, press and hold the button on the side of the adapter for 3-5 seconds. The LED indicator will blink slowly.
19. 4. To sync the Bluetooth controller and the adapter, press the button on the side of the adapter, then press the sync button on the controller. The LED indicator will blink quickly.
20. Note: if Bluetooth syncing failed, please connect the Bluetooth controller to the adapter using a USB cable (not included). As soon as the controller is identified by the system, you can disconnect the USB cable and sync again.
21. 5. The Bluetooth has been paired if the LED indicator lights solid.
22. 1. Connect the adapter to a ny spare USB port on your Nintendo Switch, PS3 or PC system.
23. Note: The Xbox 360 controller must be a wired one, not a wireless controller + cable
24. If you are having problems with the adapter, you can follow the instructions below to update the software.
25. 1. Download the software from http://mayflash.com/Support/Download/ and install it on your Windows system.
26. 2. Double click on the adapter and leave the updater window on yours creen.
27. 3. Connect the adapter to any USB port on your PC.
28. 4. Make sure your adapter is in Nintendo Switch or Dinput mode (red or blue). If it is not, please switch the adapter to Nintendo Switch or Dinput mode by holding the sync button for 3-5 seconds.
29. 5. As soon as the adapter has been recognized (the LED indicator will turn off), select 'Update'
30. 6. Do not disconnect the device until you are informed the update was completed successfully.
31. Note:
32. 1. Only one Bluetooth controller is supported for one adapter.
33. 2. A wired USB controller and a Wireless Bluetooth controller can be connected at the same time, but both must have the same functions and can only play one game character.
34. 3. To switch A-B, B-A, X-Y, Y-X, press and hold Start and A for 3 seconds. To switch A-A, B-B, X-X, Y-Y, press and hold the Start and B buttons for 3 seconds. This works only when you connect your Switch Pro, Switch Joy-Con and Wii U Pro controllers to a PC Xinput system.
35. 4. If you connect up to 4 Bluetooth controllers to the adapter, you can disconnect the first controller by pressing the sync button, and second, third and fourth controllers in the same way.
36. 5. To use the Nintendo Joy-Con controllers, please connec the Joy-Con (R) first, then connec the Joy-Con (L).
37. 6. Logitech wireless gamepad F710 is supported, please connect the emitter to the adapter before use.
